The Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff's Department continues accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff in order to maintain a list of eligible candidates for future hiring. Starting salary is $29,300 without experience and a standard health benefit/retirement package. Those individuals with full time law enforcement experience will start at a higher rate depending on the number of years of experience they possess.
Minimum qualifications : High School Diploma, 470 - Hour P.O.S.T. Certified Academy or Class B License, Possess a Missouri Operators License and a background suitable for law enforcement work. Drug test, physical and STEPS testing required.
